| Body | I bought this several years ago from a guy who bought it from a service man who found it in a garage in Italy… The person I bought it from had done a ground up restoration on his own… But it was not running. Or at least not running consistently. I had it for several years and Had the engine rebuilt and had it running quite well… I have YouTube videos I will try to upload if I can’t upload them I will send them to you if you contact me… Showing the bike when it was running about ten years ago or so. After I got it back from this mechanic… It stopped running, and I discovered that the carburetor had a piece missing where the hose connected to the metal… There was no way to fix it so I eventually found an original carburetor for it in Australia… However, I never put it on. The bike has been sitting in my garage for 10 years. I have the carburetor… See picture. If you put the carburetor on everything else should be in good shape… Again I paid $3500 to have the thing rebuilt. No guarantees but I think it’ll run with the carburetor and a little mechanical know how. This is an original Italian lambretta… I hope it goes to a good home. I’ve given up on the idea of me putting it together someday. If you buy it, you’ll be the third person in the United States that has owned it and maybe you can get it going. I spent $2500 on the bike originally and then about 3500 at least on getting it running etc.… It’s not registered anywhere. You have to work with a DMV in your state to register it once it is running. There is a way to do that… I did that with my 1965 Vespa a while back. I have a low reserve of $2000. I can’t ship it to anybody you’ll have to pick it up.
